Parent Resources
Below are some links to help parents navigate and promote their children’s high school athletic careers, but to all parents, please remember:
Let players play, let coaches coach, let officials officiate, and let the spectators be positive!
Playing sports in college:
If your child wants to play in college, even if he/she is not sure at what level or program, please cover your bases and register him/her into the NCAA Eligibility Center, preferably in their Frosh or Sophomore year. All NCAA prospective athletes must register with the Eligibility Center – https://web3.ncaa.org/ecwr3/.
For strategies to get your child recognized by college coaches, please visit our Student-Athlete Resources page. The most important consideration when picking a college should be where will your child will grow, and be happy and successful? What college will help your child reach their goals? We recommend that you do not base this important decision solely on athletics.
